Events and Official Program
The preliminary program is shown below and any changes will be posted on this page and advised to entrants at the Technical Briefing. A final program will be provided to particpants on arrival in Dili.

| Tue–Wed 6-7 July: | Yachts arrive Dili; CIQ for arriving yachts |
| Thursday 8 July: | Free time; optional tours around Dili and districts can be arranged. CIQ for arriving yachts |
| Thursday 8 July evening | International Dinner and Entertainment at the Hotel Dili. Contact Hotel Dili for further information. |
| Friday 9 July: | Official Welcome Program (for all Rally particpants, dignitaries and invited guests) |
| 1000-1030hrs | Welcome Ceremony including Ministerial welcome and Cultural?Musical Performance |
| 1030-1100hrs | Refreshment break |
| 1100-1200hrs | Visit to Handicraft Mini Expo promoting local products and arts |
| 1400-1800 hrs | Complimentary tour of Dili and districts including major landmarks and and tourism places |
| 1900-2300 hrs | Welcome Dinner and Presentation Ceremony at the Arbiru Resort hosted by the Minister for Tourism |
| Saturday 10 July: | Official Program continues |
| 1000-1200 hrs | Official Sail Past by Fleet with invited guests and dignitaries on-board. Course: Depart Anchorage and exit port via channel markers, proceeding along the Dili foreshore to the Pertamina Wharf, then to the Jesus Statue (Fatocama Pt) and then returning to the anchorage via the offical port entrance channel markers. |
| 1500-1630 hrs | Technical Briefing on Cruising Timor-Leste Waters presented by the Dili Port Authority and Mr Robert Crean at the Rally office. |
| 1900-2300 hrs | Farewell Cocktail Party and Souvenir Exchange aboard the MV Lissa Solklint hosted by the Timor-Leste Tourism Centre and Mr Mack McCormack. |
| Sunday 11 July+: | Free time; optional tours around Dili and districts can be arranged |
| Monday 12 July: | Rally office closes; |
Participants free to undertake their own activities, tour Timor-Leste, stay over in Dili, continue cruising, return to Darwin or other ports etc.
- There is no time limit on your stay in Dili or Timor-Leste, but you will need to renew your visa if you intend to stay over 30 days. For further information go to the Timor-Leste Immigration Department website www.migracao.gov.tl
- After leaving Dili, yachts will be able to cruise at leisure along the north coast of Timor-Leste. Details of possible stop-over points will be provided to participants but there will be no formal arranged activities at these places. Cruising Permits will be issued as part of the CIQ process to all particpants to suit their schedule and timetable
- Arrangements for clearance out of Dili and Timor-Leste will be managed as part of the overall CIQ process through the 'one-stop shop'.
Onshore Support
Timor-Leste CIQ officials and various providers will establish a ‘one-stop shop’ in the area where you will come ashore. This will cover:
- CIQ and clearance matters (inwards and outwards)
- Assistance with spare part importation
- Laundry, fuel and water services (user pays)
- Tourism opportunities (user pays)
- Beach and anchorage security (user pays)
- General assistance and advice
There is also planned a series of handicraft and food stalls in the immediate vicinity. A Welcome package will be provided to each participant on arrival.
