| Sail Indonesia | Sail Indonesia www.sailindonesia.net is an annual sailing rally now in its tenth year. It departs from Darwin every year in July and follows a three month schedule of linked events across Indonesia. After the Sail Indonesia program is over you can then go on to Singapore and finally join Sail Malaysia events. This will take you from Johor Baru just north of Singapore up the west coast of Malaysia, again in a series of linked events finishing at the island of Langkawi. Any yachts wishing to travel into Indonesian waters or ports require appropriate cruising and security permits. These are facilitated by Sail Indonesia and must be obtained prior to departure from Darwin. Entrants in the Sail Timor-Leste Darwin Dili Yacht Rally are able to enter the Sail Indonesia event, joining up with the Sail Indonesia fleet in Kupang in West Timor after departing Dili. | Duty Free Fuel | To purchase Duty Free Fuel, when you arrive in Darwin first take all your yacht papers together with the crew passports the Shipping Section at Australian Customs located at 21 Lindsay Street in Darwin and they will issue you the paperwork and explain the procedure to you. You can take on duty free fuel at the Cullen Bay Jetty after you arrive in Darwin and before you go into a marina, yachts cannot be refuelled inside a marina and this will save the extra time and effort involved in coming out of a marina to take on fuel. | Health & Vaccinations | In Timor-Leste, Typhoid, Hepatitis, Tetanus and Malaria are common Every crew member should consult a doctor for advice on the prevention and treatment of tropical diseases.
